Lorex dvr loud fan fix - $5.59

I scanned the QR code on the case fan. This is the page that came up. It's 40x40x10 with a 4 pin connector. I ordered this Noctua NF-A4x10 4-pin fan to replace it. I agree with the above; I don't think the case fan is the nosier of the two fans, but every little bit will help. These are...

New build for 4K cameras. i9-9900K?

...temperatures, because a CLC liquid cooler can fail more easily than an air cooler. If you do have one fail, would recommend you look at a Noctua air cooler as they CAN outperform most CLC coolers (this test was done with AMD TR4 tho: ) and you just have 2 fans to worry about failing not a...

    Dahua NVR 4KS vs 4KS2?

...have an internal power supply like a computer. I have an NVR5216-4KS2 purchased from Andy and I have replaced the 40mm internal fan with a Noctua NF-A4x20 PWM fan, this has made it nearly silent when running except for the small amount of hard drive noise. I had to drill the holes in the...

Best Ubiquity switch for my setup?

I used 4 of the Noctua NF-A4x20 PWM fans which I ordered from Amazon. They come with low noise adapters to adjust the speed. Just used an old 5vdc power brick to power them and stuck them to the side with double faced tape. Nothing done inside the switch. The temp went from 80c down to 45c.

How To Guide: Retro fitting a fan inside the DS-7608ni-k1/4p NVR - with pics

...Male SATA to Fan adaptor (I got one with 2 fan outputs), so potentially you could have a fan either side) 3) Any small case fan, I've used the Noctua series, they have rubber mounts and fits well inside the case, mostly importantly for me, it's near silent, but pumps out a good volume of air...

New build for 4K cameras. i9-9900K?

I recommend a graphics card. I had a few problems a few weeks after I got everything set up. With cpu spiking. By putting a few on the graphics card. It keeps everything more balanced.

    Building a B.I, dedicated Intel i-9 system.

Thanks for sharing. Don't think I'm quite read to jumping onto building a i-9 system. Was starting to get very expensive. Most likely will do later down the road. Till then, bought myself a used i-7 -8700. This will be a second system to assist with my heavy load.

    Building a B.I, dedicated Intel i-9 system.

...eventually you get water out!!!!! There are plenty of good air coolers out there. One of the best, although you will need a large case is the Noctua DH-15, and it's now available in black chrome with black fans if you don't like beige! Whether you need custom air cooling will depend on the...

    Hikvision DS-7608NI-K2/8P Fan Noise

I have changed it for a Noctua NF-A4x20 FLX and it is a massive difference, the side one is quite noisy so I also changed that to a Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX. There is a good video on youtube on how to do it, it took me no more than 30 mins to do both and that was me taking my time.

    Hikvision DS-7608NI-K2/8P Fan Noise

...will I, it is located in our bedroom so needs to be pretty quiet. The PSU fan seems to be the main culprit, as anyone here replaced it with a Noctua NF-A4x 10mm or 20mm fan and did it make much difference? Only £12 on Amazon, the 20mm version seems to be quieter. I don't want to invalidate...

    Help Choosing a Switch

...to get right (and reboots afterwards need a factory reset so plan on doing it all again). It's loud as all hell stock - I replaced all the fans in it with Noctua A4x10's (the 10 is very important, it will not spin up the 20's), spent as much on fans as I did the switch. Probably wouldn't buy...

Why does Ubiquiti only offer 1-year warranty on their products when other companies offer lifetime warranty?

This is @TonyR .... Some dude put a fan on the Easy Bake modems and made a few bucks selling retro-fit kits!

Why does Ubiquiti only offer 1-year warranty on their products when other companies offer lifetime warranty?

@Tony Romero LOL... My 2 US‑8‑150W's were running about 60-65C before I added a couple of Noctua NF-A4x20 to each. Now they run 40-45C.

new hardware recomendation for 24 ip cameras = =1434 MP/s

For about $1100 you could build your own 2U rackmount system using an empty case and put in a Z390 motherboard and low profile Noctua CPU cooler. Keep the savings and put towards something else. I wouldn't want an I9-9900K in a 1U server, it'll probably have insufficient cooling.

New Hikvision NVR loud fan "replacement" :)

Thank you , I just ordered mine and can't wait to install it. My NVR is so noisy, and maybe getting worse, I can hear it in another room, and at night it's audible across the house.
