5.5.1.6, the latest. This has been happening for awhile, at least the last couple months. I usually always go to the latest update within a couple days of release.

Update: What's actually happening is the "flagged" event that shows up in Blue Iris is one flagged event older than the event that triggered it. I realize that's hard to follow. AI hits on a human at 7 PM. I immediately get a correct telegram alert with the correct picture, but the event...

[tool] [tutorial] Free AI Person Detection for Blue Iris

I'm having a problem where flagged events don't show up in Blue Iris for 8-12 hours. AI Tool registers the hit and I get my Telegram alert instantly, but Blue Iris isn't registering the flagged event until hours later sometimes even the next day. Anybody experiences this?

Has anybody found that AITool will randomly wipe the detection mask for one camera for seemingly no reason? I can't figure out what's triggering it but it's happened 2 or 3 times in recent months, the mask for one of my cams will just be gone and I'll suddenly start getting telegram alerts from...

Can't get cameras to sync correctly with proper time all the time

FIXED: I'm dumb. I had been avoiding the DST setting in the camera because they require entering the dates manually. DST dates change every year so these would have to be re-set each year in every camera. That's only slightly more convenient than going in twice a year to change the time itself...

Haha, did you read my entire post? :)

Can't get cameras to sync correctly with proper time all the time

Indeed, setting the camera to a time zone 1 hour off from mine displays the correct time. I'm worried that once DST ends I'll be off an hour and have to change it back, hopefully not!

Can't get cameras to sync correctly with proper time all the time

I want my camera feeds coming into Blue Iris to always have the correct time and self adjust for DST. Right now, I have to log in to each camera from my camserver 2x per year and click "PC Sync" to fix the time on each. There is an option to sync to NTP server with the default being...

5.4.0.0 - Direct Deep Stack Integreation in BI YAY !

Just saw it and really excited. Haven't figured out how to use it yet.

I just experienced something interesting with AI Tool 2.0.703.7716. I received a telegram alert and the red box around the person who caused the positive hit is entirely within a masked area. 100%, no corner of the box is in an unmasked area and nothing else was detected, only 1 thing in the...

Just out of curiosity, has anybody heard any rumors about "AITool" type functionality eventually getting built directly into Blue Iris? I know BI has a service of its own, but surely the writing is on the wall regarding what the customers want (and Sentry isn't it) so I think the motivation is...

Is this true for the Docker version? Wouldn't it just create another container that would be visible in the GUI and easily stopped?

Docker can start on log-in. So you have to check that box, then disable the login screen in windows, and then you will have autostart.

There's no doubt in my mind that AWS Rekognition is going to give amazing results, and I would love to try it, but...... personally a non-local solution is a bit of a non-starter for me, I've tried hard to make this a fully functioning local system and I don't really want to stray away from that...

Funny, I'm actually seeing the exact same false label. x3 always correctly labelled a "Potted Plant" on my doorstep. x5 detects the same thing as a "Person". Frustrating because it's not in an area I can mask without literally masking half my doorstep. I might try changing the mode to "High"...

Has anybody else noticed that the x5-beta version of deepstack, while faster, is not as good as the x3 version when it comes to quality of detections? I'm getting more phantom people detected in my images than I used to. I also notice that the people that are detected come with much lower...

I just want to follow-up in case somebody else wants to do this. I made 2 additional profiles, one for 30 minutes and one for 3 hours. I set the temp time for each to 30 and 180 minutes respectively. The only change for each of these profiles is for each cam I unchecked the box to dump JPEGS...

The additional relevant objects field in AITool can for sure be used to tell AITool to report objects that can be detected by deepstack but aren't available as one of AITool's checkboxes (Deepstack can detect around 80 objects but AITool only has checkboxes for 15 of them). I do not know if/how...

How are people temporarily pausing AI detections? I made a simple exe in Python and PyInstaller that closes AI Tool, starts a counter, then re-opens when time runs out. It works but it feels clunky, I have to open RDP on my phone and run the exe on my camserver. I tried running the exe remotely...

I'm running on a 4th gen i5 w/ 8gb RAM. 4 cams. My BI idles between 3-7% CPU and spikes momentarily during deepstack detections but that spike was greatly reduced with the latest deepstack upgrade. Definitely give it another go.

Why run the windows version over docker on windows? I used to run the Windows version but it was such a pain starting it up every time I rebooted. Docker starts up on boot and I don't have to do anything.

Amazing, much appreciated. The newer deepstack version is so much faster. My image analysis went from around 1300ms to <300ms just with this update.

Been running well for months now, but I'd like to update my deepstack to the latest version. How can I update deepstack which I have running in docker? The deepstack site that talked about docker installation seems to be gone now.

Hi all and thanks for the great thread. I've been following and using AITool since the earlier days but only just today upgraded to the Chris Dodge version. I apologize if this has been asked before, I've only read through the first 88 pages of this thread. I keep getting errors in AITool when...
