    My NVR does not have POE. I have it plugged directly into my Edge Router as previously suggested, and then my cams all plugged into my POE switch. If I were to do a factory reset on the NVR wouldn't I lose my work in regards to me changing the ip address to the proper subnet?

    Agreed, I have yet to find good notes in the Cliff Notes and having trouble finding a step by step for this NVR. I am pretty close to trying to find a professional in the Houston area to finish off my setup.

    Well I had a small netbook with windows I was able to use. @bababouy the active X stuff helped out and I was able to get the plugins installed. Now I am assuming I need to add all my cameras to this NVR interface. However, I am under the setup tab and I am a bit lost on my next steps here.

    10/4, I thought I had read somewhere that Chrome was not supported, now that you say this. Tonight when I get home I will try Internet Explorer. However, I just looked and IE is not supported on the Mac, which is of course my laptop.

    I have 12V to the camera, my computer plugged directly into the ethernet port, and my computer ip set as 192.168.1.100 subnet 255.255.255.0 no gateway and I can not get to the login on 192.168.1.108. Any suggestions here? Man I appreciate the help!

    I fish mostly out of Galveston Bay Complex and get over to Sabine as much as possible. Grand Isle, I went to the fishing tournament there one year. That was a hell of a time. I cant wait to get back out there. I have a cabinet I am going to try to stick it in, before I pull another cable.
