    I agree, considering the PTZ feature with zoom capability. That's why I opted for the 2MP instead of the 4MP, and it also includes auto-tracking.     One thing I just noticed now .. On the lux Rating does the 1 1.2 Camera at 8mp looks better on paper ?? I am confused or Am I reading this lux rating wrong. ? Sorry do NOT understand lux ratings that well...

    Thanks a ton to you as well for finding that 4MP version. I must say, I like the HikVision site a bit better now, as we can narrow down through MP Filter. All they have to do now is add another filter option using sensor size. I wish Dahua had this option on their website.

    I do have a laser PTZ for that area, designed for long-range use. However, some neighbor's trees obstruct smooth auto-tracking because of those trees. Additionally, light becomes an issue over long distances during nighttime for my area.
