    Just an FYI, I called eyemax today and they were able to use a code generator based on the current system date to generate a password that is only good for the current date. This allowed me to get in and default system and change password. Thanks for everyone’s help and direction.

    Password has been lost, trying to factory reset it or recover the password so I can go in and set it up. Cant find any info online. Tried holding down the reset button on the board while plugging it in but that's not doing the trick. Anyone, please?

    To answer your question, I can tell you that the Dahua firmware has IVS such as tripwire and intrusion as well as SmartIR where as the amcrest firmware does not. I’m sure there are probably a few more features but those are the main ones I am concerned with.

    I agree with you in that it should be pulled until at least there is more info on the matter. This is strange. Anyhow I downgraded to 15 on all my cams due to the IVS bug.

    Personally I have not experienced any rebooting or other issues with this firmware. I have it loaded on 9 cameras and have been running it for a couple months without any other issues.

    I believe I have confirmed an IVS bug in this firmware. Normally when a tripwire or intrusion zone is triggered, your blue tripwire or intrusion lines will flash red and green indicating they have been triggered. In this firmware it appears to not be working. Meaning that the IVS rules...

    Even if you forget to remove the watermark prior to flashing you can just do a factory default and it will clear it up.

    The above is excellent advice. I found the hard way that sometimes the update does not like something in the current configuration and will boot loop. Doing as @Reimo suggested is the best way to guard against that.

    Try this, open the NVR and locate the reset button. Unplug the power of the NVR then hold down the reset button. Plug power back in while still holding the reset button. Keep holding button ( up to 30-45 seconds) until you hear a long beep. After that your NVR might work again.

    The HDMI handshake issue seems to only be present at 3840x2160 @60hz it works fine at 3840x2160 @30hz

    Found a bug in the latest 20-10-10 firmware. Seems to be an HDMI handshake issue. I am using mine on Sony XBR tv and whenever I reboot the NVR, it will not display vdieo on the TV until I toggle to another HDMI input then back.

    Anyone on the email issue I posted about? I’m really wondering if Gmail made some changes but I doubt it because it’s working on a backup server I run. I think the firmware may be broke. I tried to different NVR’s with same result.

The only little bug I have seen so far in this new firmware is that the 8 ePoe ports report poor link quality when in fact previous firmware reported good...

    Ok I see now. Unfortunately my cameras do not have all the Ai features that yours do so those options are not available to me.

    Not Sure what you mean by smart plan options showing up wrong. I have not noticed anything but can you please clarify?
