EmpireTech IPC-T5442T-ZE and Blue Iris Configuration

You are ok there. This is what mine come up with doing "find/inspect" if using substreams, click and it will show you these options. If it does not then enter its as TonyR mentioned earlier.

    PTZ controls suddenly stopped working

I discovered 3 different Dahua models lost PTZ function during the night. All use the newer WEB GUI. The older ones did not seem to be affected. Thanks wittaj for the V4 tip as that put them back in operation.

    Amcrest IP8M-TD2685EW-AI White Light Settings

I have a T1277 and was hard for me to find how to disable the white light. I didn't like it at night either as I prefered to use IR. Here are 3 screen shots that I saved for a reference. Not sure but the turning on disarming in events may have had something to do with it,

    Smallest Auto-Tracking Camera

    Auto tracking with PTZ1A225-HNR-GB

Sorry! I was assuming you were using Blueiris, That's where the spotters come into play. I like the looks of your new toy. For some reason I had thought it had to be mounted with the camera ball up, as that was the only photos that I had seen before. Keep us informed of how it performs.

    Smallest Auto-Tracking Camera

Andy does have the newer PTZ3E405-AI that is made for active deterrence. I is considerably smaller that the SD49225XA and is not in the same ballpark but is cheaper. https://empiretech01.com/products/empiretech-ptz3e405-ai-1-2-8cmos-4mp-5x-tioc-ptz-camera?_pos=1&_psq=tioc&_ss=e&_v=1.0

    Auto tracking with PTZ1A225-HNR-GB

I would assume it would track animals with your setup. My SD4A425 and SD49225's track deer, dogs, cows, and racoons pretty well. I have human and vehicles checked. Don't remember size settings right off hand. Night time with IR is not as good. Thanks to wittaj, setting up spotter cams was a...

Would a boobie cam be the best in this situation?

Maybe a fisheye camera. Here is a sample photo of inside of a 100 ft long barn, 40 ft from camera to the containers exit wall for reference.

    IPC-T5442T-ZE blurry image area

Looks like an area where the lighting from the IR and the house light are not getting to it. Are you using H265 processing? If so then H264 may help.

    Frustrated with confusing model numbers

The Amcrest IP2M-841 was my first po boy PTZ so I pushed it to the limit by mounting it outside as a deer cam. Here are photos of how I mounted it in an electrical box and fed ethernet to it and using a 5 volt adapter to power it. Also attached is a video from it mounted and another with the...

    Frustrated with confusing model numbers

Those can be ran WiFi or ethernet and you can assign a fixed IP for both but will only feed one IP at a time. Mine are old and have to have a 5 volt barrel adapter to operate. The newer ones need 5 volt via a micro USB adapter. If you wire them to ethernet they still have to be fed 5 volts as...
