Updating BI past 5.9.4.8 forces database rebuild
It feels like this happens too often. If you update to 5.9.4.9 or 5.9.4.10, you will have to wait for the clip database to fully rebuild. On my system with just 5 TB of storage for motion-triggered clips, this takes HOURS, during which nothing can be recorded. This database is such a joke.- bp2008

You can get 90 degree hFOV at 256x192 resolution for under $500 any day of the week pretty much, between Andy's version and the Hikvision models sold by B&H which are usually a bit cheaper. But that is a bit much for a "just for fun" toy camera. The 400x300 resolution model for $200 right now... -

That storage table lists M.2 NVMe, meaning it is new enough it won't have any trouble with higher capacity hard drives than were listed in that table. Systems older than that are/were frequently used as very large scale storage servers.- bp2008

Another thought, sometimes camera configurations get corrupted and you may be able to resolve this issue by deleting the camera and recreating it in Blue Iris. Export that camera's configuration before you delete it just in case.- bp2008

I am guessing it is failing to switch over to the main stream for some reason. Does it work when you maximize that camera in Blue Iris's local console? You could try unconfiguring the sub stream for that camera in Blue Iris's "Network IP camera configuration" panel, to see if the main stream...- bp2008
