    Blue Iris UI3

Thanks. Not looking for clips but I would like to view live feed on cycle for only one group of several. Hope this helps. Thanks. It took me awhile to get everything working but I am very happy despite the $$$. 11 cameras total. Returned all of the Reolink as they couldn't figure out how to...

    Blue Iris UI3

I am loving the ui3 that I now have working. I have been trying to figure out one thing though. I have cameras in several groups and want to monitor live only one of the groups. I can do this but haven't figures out how to scroll only the one group. I can scroll all groups only. Am I...

    Reolink NTP

Can't make any of them work. I wish Reolink would be helpful but not likely to happen. Changed ports to align and no go

    Reolink NTP

Sounds just like what I am doing but no go for me. Funny it clearly works on Dahua and Reolink tells me it can't update without direct internet access. I asked them what the "custom " feature is for and expect to get more bs tomorrow from them. They clearly have no clue what they are talking...

    Reolink NTP

Thanks. I set the "custom" feature of the NTP dropdown and point it to the IP address that works for the Dahua cams and no go. Reolink support is not help either. They just say it won't work without connecting to internet. Are you doing anything different?

    Reolink NTP

The camera LAN is on the 192.168.1.100 series. The Dahau cameras update time when synced to that IP address. I did it with them all and watched the time change to sync. Using the "custom" on the Reolink just provides a failed message. The cameras can't cross over to access the internet...

    Reolink NTP

Also the cameras are on a separate LAN so likely can't get to internet regardless. They are on one of 2 NIC interfaces

    Reolink NTP

The IP address I previously sent on the Dahua was only for testing. I corrected it to my local IP of 192.168.1.100. This is the server IP and updates the time on the Dahua. The Reolink has a drop-down for "custom" and I enter the 192.168.1.100 and the update fails to work. Curious if anyone...

    Reolink NTP

I know that this forum recommends avoiding Reolink. That said I have some for the non critical locations. I have been trying to sync them to the local lan. The Dahua seem to be working and holding time but not the Reolink. They do not have access to internet and Reolink says that they must...

    Remote access

I installed the Open VOPN apps on the computer with the assistance of netgear support last week. I also have some VPN functionality within the modem. When done Netgear said all was working. I am not convinced. I called them several hours ago, like 5, and haven't got anywhere with their...

    Remote access

Not checked. Can't even get to sign in page like I can on LAN. Gotta be somewhere in the network connectivity but I don't know where else to look. So annoying but I can't give up.

I see the " LAN only" in the edit user page. I am set up as admin and that box is not checked

    Remote access

If you are referring to the box "bind exclusively" on the Web Server page in the LAN area it is unchecked. If it is something else I am not seeing it. There is a box in the WAN area that says "HTTPS LAN also" that is unchecked. I tried checking it with no luck

Have that open also. It has a server IP, Private IP and Public IP. Should I be entering any of those?

    Remote access

Since the LAN connection works on my wifi I know the IP is correct. To access remotely I believe I should still enter the LAN IP. Totally confused and frustrated to get access. It was my understanding that with the VPN I could enter the LAN address but clearly it is not getting through. I...

    Remote access

both on the phone app and on the web server tab of Blue Iris settings in the software. I can't get it to hold on the web server tab as it reverts to the external WAN if I hit ok. See attached where I changed but as stated doesn't hold. This is the same IP that is shown as attached at the router

Did not change the WAN in BI to be the same as my LAN. I will do now. When I do the IP reverts to the original WAN

    Remote access

Was just able to get on locally thru the browser and it displays the IP, port 81/ui3... Had to change a "r" to a cap R. Still no success elsewhere but this is some progress

The BI IP shows it on port 81. Not sure how to see what the router thinks or if it is assignable

    Remote access

I initially go through a comcast modem to a netgear router. The netgear router identifies the BI computer as an attached device with the same IP as indicated in the BI software. That is the one I am using. The firewall from the wizard looks clear. Really no idea what to do next as the...

Here are photos of the screens for the wizard. They indicate that I am not blocked by firewall. I have not opened stunnel though as I don't think it is needed. I am using the LAN ip address of the computer as shown on the BI home page. I am not running BI through a browser but as its own...

I have Open VPN up and working as best I can tell. Haven't been able to make it work with my cell phone yet though. With OpenVPN on in both my cellphone and BI server I put the server ip address followed by :81. No luck Also I am wondering if it has anything to do with the fact that I have...

Also I think I have the OpenVPN working or installed but haven't figured out how to test. Still next on list. LPR doing great though. Only issue I see is the changing of sunrise and sunset. I have the schedule on a fixed time on the Dahua cams. BI seems to allow time setting relative to...
