    If they sold extra chimes, I would be game to try this, but I don't believe they are available yet. I'm not ripping into mine just yet. Although I already have doorbell press popping up on any Apple TV that is on and announcing on Alexa devices throughout the house.

    I'm hesitant to change anything as I am not noticing any issues. My timeline is full of people, cars, and dogs and the playback doesn't show any "No Signal" when I breeze through it. Don't break technology when it aint broke, you know.

    @David L interesting on your failed and reconnect. I am not seeing the same for mine. I did find one reconnect that corresponds to my nightly DB compact routine, perhaps there is a similar maintenance routine that is resetting the connection?

    It should be very simple to setup. Look at your router, pull the ip and put it in a browser, go to settings, network - advanced - port settings, enable RTSP, enable ONVIF, save and exit. Now you can add to BI or other NVR.

    DS stopped working and the next BI update brought CodeProject more front and center. Made the switch and haven't looked back. I think detection is just as reliable and the software seems to not require me to futz with it at all, which is nice.

    From Reolink Customer Support after I asked for updated firmware that allows constant framerate and setting the iframe: They asked for some sample night videos to use as examples and I shared a few. Hopefully this firmware comes soon with this relatively simple fix.

    So far, I have zero "No Signal" counts overnight, but there was very limited motion detected (a few cars). I will monitor today and report back. Not sure if there are any negatives to not sending the RTSP keep alive??
