    What is difference between Dahua NVR4216 & NVR5216 ?

    I liked the NVR5216 because it had a BNC out that I could rf modulate to my TV's simultaneous to HDMI. Looks like NVR4216 doesn't have BNC out. I've been told by a reseller that the NVR4216 has been updated from the older model which is NVR5216.

    The porch is a well lit area so IR isn't 100% necessary. Porch lights are on a timer which can be modified to ensure lighting is always available.

    What is the main difference between Dahua & Hikvision since people tend to like one or the other? Quality, specs, frequency of firmware updates... While Costco is nice bundled you don't have the luxury of selecting the cams you want for specific locations.
