It does appear to have a long tail which would eliminate a bear. A friend suggested it might be a very large cat or possibly a panther.- Larebear

I'm through dealing with Monica. There's no support after the sale with her. She's only interested in selling more cameras and can care less about any after sales failures. I'll most likely be switching over to imporx as others have done, plus they're priced lower than what Monica offers. -

That's a good idea, although I don't know which circuit board is defective. There are two boards of which one is most likely causing the failure. One board looks like a motor control board which is connected to another board that has power fed directly to it. Wish I had a spare v1 that could... -

Does yours get direct sunlight in the afternoon? Mine was toast at around 3:00 PM with direct sunlight on it. At that time, the temp was about 98F. -

I sent Monica an email about the camera that died. Will post her response when I hear back from her. It's around 5:40 AM in China, so it might be a while. I think it probably was the heat that killed mine. :( -

Ooops, my mistake, the 12v & RJ45 connections go directly to a circuit board that's mounted on the lens assembly, so it could be either board causing the problem. Will see what Monica has to say. -

I think I'll give it a shot and send her an email and put in a request for the circuit board. If that small board is causing the problem, then it should be a fairly easy fix. Does she still have the yahoo.com email address? I can also contact her using whatsapp. -

I disassembled the dead camera today. I suspect the culprit is probably the small circuit board which is connected to the 12v supply and RJ45 connections. This board also controls the PT motors. -

All of my v1 have Poe. I still haven't taken the one that croaked apart yet. Hope to get around to it something in the next few days. Hopefully this isn't something that's going to happen to others after a few months.
