Moisture inside Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I on lens

Thanks for the suggestions @Kawboy12R. I have the silica packets and I think I have some silicone grease. The grease is a good idea to help keep the moisture out. He has the camera mounted on the side of his house and it's not protected from the elements or rain. His other two Hik 2032's don't...

Here's a snapshot taken today from the camera. The image quality was great when the camera was first installed.

Moisture inside Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I on lens

His has been cloudy for about a month and doesn't seem to be clearing up. He wanted to use a hairdryer to try and dry it but that might be risky to apply that much heat to it. I ordered these silica packets from Amazon today. Hopefully they'll help keep it dry in the future...

Moisture inside Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I on lens

I recently sold a Hik 2032 to a friend and helped him install it. After a few weeks of rainy weather, the image is very cloudy. It appears that there's moisture on the inside on the lens. Has anyone else had this problem with a Hik 2032? I'm going to try and disassemble it and clean the lens...

Making a Hik 2432 portable with mini router and battery pack

I read on Amazon that the 20000 mAh rating was most likely for the 5v and not the 9v or 12v. One Q & A on Amazon stated that he/she calculated about 6000 mAh at 12v.

Fat bird ready for the BBQ

This is the new Flock Block. You can see the remnants of the old one (pig-head) on the left side. This particular ESC camera gets close-up captures of anything that moves including ants, beetles, slugs, worms, spiders, mice, raccoon's and of course cats, but mostly birds and squirrels during the...

Fat bird ready for the BBQ

Never had quail eggs but used to hunt quail and pheasants years ago. Both are quite tasty.

Fat bird ready for the BBQ

He'd probably needs a long runway to take off. Hope he's fast enough to avoid the cats and hawks. :)

Fat bird ready for the BBQ

I feed them cracked corn. I buy the 50 pound sacks of it at North 40 (Big-R). They also enjoy the flock blocks.

Fat bird ready for the BBQ

They devoured the pigs head so I had to get another flock block yesterday. I wonder what they'll carve this time? I don't know where they lay their eggs but I get many chicks showing up in the Spring. I just feed them for the fun of it and the camera captures. They're used to me feeding them...

Fat bird ready for the BBQ

Just kidding. I would never harm these little birds but I have to admit that this little guy is really fat. Guess I shouldn't be feeding them so much. Maybe I should name him 'Fat Albert'. :D
