I mounted my DB1 on the same position as my old dorbell. As the DB1 is smaller (46 mm) than my old doorbell (diameter ca. 60 mm), its imprint can be seen behind the DB1 (which bothers me). I think you can't use this combination of doorbell/transformer as it was intended. According to the EZVIZ doc. the DB1 needs 12 V AC at a minimum. Your doorbell/transformer only supplies 8 V AC. As the doc. suggest you need a separate transformer (12 to 24 VAC) to power the DB1, then investigate... -

Received the Ezviz DB1 last week and am testing it. It updated a few times and is now on 5.2.4 build 191211. I'm not certain but there is now a switch "Answer doorbell call" and "Outdoor bell sound".
