    Interesting. That is the latest version on the HIK OEM portal and it shows the release date in December 21. I guess they are waiting to release the makeover firmware until they get all the bugs ironed out.

    Sorry I never got email notifications for your post. Do you still need assistance from what I posted below? Plug and play only works when the cameras are in the uninitialized state. Once the camera grabs the first information from the NVR it wont automatically do it again PNP for another...

    Laview is defunct. The firmware I posted is official channel oem I series firmware which is what these nvrs are.

    Port scanning happens all the time. I'd you had 3.3.1 connected to the internet you miswell of had no password.

    You can setup hik connect with the barcode in platform access menu. I will post the latest firmware that's available when I get home.

    Get hik connect... You have to download it directly from hikvision and side load the APK as they are not in the Play store. You can put any size hard drive you want in that NVR and it will not affect the firmware I was running 12 terabyte purple in it till I went to a 64 channel hikvision.

    No malicious firmware, it's from an official channel. Download the Hikvision SADP tool to a computer and see if your username and password works that way then do a reset.

    La View just rebrands the products. They make nothing. Their support really sucks. I would avoid them. If you are going to buy a new NVR you could pretty much buy any hikvision and it will work plug and play

    You can actually run LTS firmware right on these units. It doesnt need to be a la view branded unit either. Whats your budget? You can get a 16 channel for $300 new on ebay.
