    IPC-Color4K-T and IPC-Color4K-T180 230227 Firmware

Just did factory reset. Set IP, password, turned off P2P, set internal time server, enabled Motion Detection and SMD, enabled audio, set frame rate and interval to 15/15 bitrate to 8192, sub stream to 15/15 bitrate to 512, remove alarm and snapshot so its only recording video to SD Card...

    IPC-Color4K-T and IPC-Color4K-T180 230227 Firmware

I am downloading from Edge or Chrome and saving local then playing it. It shows up with the same stuttering as it saves to BI as well. I even installed BI on a separate computer with an i9-9900 and an RTX 2060 and no other camera feeds. Removed the camera from the network and connected directly...

    IPC-Color4K-T and IPC-Color4K-T180 230227 Firmware

He sent me a newer version but I am having a lot of bandwidth issues with it. Recorded video to the SD Card even stutters and drops frames with the Samsung Pro Plus card. I found that it updates bandwidth settings on its own and changes the CBR I set of 8192 to Custom and something in the 3000...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

I completely agree, I have mine firewall segregated into a separate VLAN with access to the internet but not my regular internal network or my NVR. It is currently dedicated to only announcing front door, recording to SDCard and being accessed via P2P on the web. I do have loopback enabled so I...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

I have one of the reolink dome cameras at my front door currently while I wait for the doorbell to arrive, their P2P service is the fastest I have found in regards to alerts and always accurate with people. I know someone is at my door before they are 3 feet from the doorbell and it only has...

My DIY Alternative to Reolink's 180 Degree Camera

There is also the Annke NCD800 which is $220 at the moment on Newegg, or the new Dahua/EmpireTech dual lens camera that should be available next month for roughly $250, but both of those are more expensive obviously. They are both also full color night vision with warm LED light compensation.

    IPC-Color4K-T and IPC-Color4K-T180 230227 Firmware

Gotcha, yeah I am obviously very new to this. This is my first camera other than some reolink cameras and one Annke, which I will be returning the reolink’s and possibly the annke most likely.

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

That’s in the camera setup in blue Iris. The screenshot you posted that says Send RTSP keep alive. I also enable ONVIF notifications and on the trigger tab enable camera digital input or motion alarm.

I noticed the Dahua site has a firmware file from 11-16-2022, would it be better to use the Dahua firmware or this one for the Color4k-T? https://www.dahuasecurity.com/support/downloadCenter/download-search?keyword=IPC-HDW5849H-ASE-LED

    IPC-Color4K-T and IPC-Color4K-T180 230227 Firmware

Does anyone else have issues with the color4k-t recording an entire event when using SMD with person detection enabled? I had SMD with person detection running but it only records for 30 seconds to a minute or so even though my son is still in front of the camera playing basketball. Will it not...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Technically you could connect the WiFi version via POE Ethernet and a POE splitter that then powers the doorbell also.

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Most people I have seen just run new cable near the door where possible and rather than put it in the door frame itself simply place it next to the door, then wood dust/wood glue fill the holes from the old doorbell and paint over them. You could even tuck it along the bottom edge of the wall if...

Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

Has the aspect ratio been corrected yet or is that going to be in a future firmware. The ePTZ function is part of what is selling me on this. That’s pretty fancy… lol

Good deal Annke 180 degree dual 1/1.8 for $220?

I stupidly forgot that I put a dummy IP address in for the gateway when I initially set it up, which is why it wouldn’t talk to Hik-Connect. Just wanted to let everyone know this isn’t a problem. Hik-Connect via P2P does mess up the stream settings for main and sub-streams though so I turned...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

POE is the better choice. WiFi isn’t great. The WiFi version can use an Ethernet cable if WiFi doesn’t work according to Reolink support, it just can’t be powered by POE on the WiFi version. You could still use a POE splitter at the cable end if you can hide it somewhere so you can feed power to...

Annke Firmware to Hikvision Firmware: HOW TO

After you switch to hikvision firmware from Annke can you normally still connect to Annke Vision or Hik-Connect? Neither will let me connect by serial number and Hik-Connect stays offline on the camera even if I try to change the site it connects to with custom to one of the several alternate...

After putting the hikvision firmware on yours can you still connect to P2P with Hik-Connect? I know we shouldn’t be, … I created a separate VLAN with internet access and can’t access my internal network, but I want to be able to connect P2P while out of town because I still don’t have my...

Now if only they would come out with a technology similar to what is in cars where it just gives you a 360 sky view that shows you everything around the property, then just allow you see the area an event is occurring, click on that area and see full color camera angles all around it… lol

I guess luckily for me I only need to cover about 30 feet away from my house in any direction. Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of outside light so I’m probably going to have to add some lighting with the cameras also. Downside is I may have to figure out how to run some POE lighting. Low...
