BI can access I cant
Some cameras need to accessed using IE mode in Edge, otherwise they will not recognize the username & password, I know this since I have several cameras that require this, there is no error message if you try to login while not in IE mode, it just will not work! -

What's the difference with these extended support products? and does IPCAMTALK store sell these?
It looks like the cheaper one is the same, but they are giving a discount as it is setup for automatic renewal, put both of them in your shopping cart then click on the individual items in the cart and you will see the differences, you can always remove them from your shopping cart! You don't need the ALPR module unless you plan on reading license plates (Tags for you in the USA) The Camera AI setting are on the Alert tab, -

GPU Card
Are all the cameras recording direct to disk? Are they all set to 15 fps? Are you using substreams? I am not sure that the video card will be much use to BI directly as on my system turning off Hardware Acceleration actually reduces my CPU usage with 18 cameras, but will probably help CPAI! -

The answer is Maybe! The license key is stored in the windows system registry not in the hard drive file system. Is BI still installed, or will you have to reinstall it, look for .reg files in the install folder and in C:\ProgamData\Blue Iris\temp and make backup copies of them before you... -

If I were you I would try it with a few cameras and see how it works, you have nothing to lose, if it can not handle it then go and build up a new system. I would not think that your issue is at all similar, just my opinion. Do you have your original BI key, are you on a support contract? if not when did it expire, do you know the last version that was released prior to your support expiring? Is the hard drive from the old computer accessible or... -

Full screen on camera Alerts
Click on the gear icon, there are some options under autocycle that appear to prioritize triggered or alerted cameras, I have never used them, so check out the help on that page!- Bruce_H

5.9.4.0 Triggers Webroot Malware Alert for NGROK.EXE
I just updated to 5.9.4.0, I scanned with an updated version of Bitdefender Total Security and it found no issues, I even went back and scanned the NGROK.exe file separately and Bitdefender found no virus- Bruce_H

Transfer of Blue Iris archive records
I am pretty sure that if you delete them from BI, they will not magically reappear when the external drive is reattached, you can of course browse (with windows explorer) the files on the external disk and open them if you wish- Bruce_H

Not sure if you know how to find the list, click and hold or right click on the file folder icon or on the left sidebar and select it from the list when it pops up in a second or two, I think that there is also a setting to determine of the canceled items show up in the "All clips" list or not...- Bruce_H

AI Detecting potted plants - solved!
I think that I found out how to do this, I realized that I had the "Default object detection" turned on in the AI tab of the main setting window, no more "potted plants" now only "nothing found" when no person is present -
