    I'm also using surveillance station on the Synology. Works great. If you are using a domotica system there are other ways to receive doorbell press notification. I have connected my Ezviz to a 433mhz transmitter and i'm using Pushover for the notifications. I do not use the Ezviz app at all.

    Yes indeed the chime is very loud and annoying. Because i do not use the intercom functionality i have put a peace of tape over the speaker. That works fine for me.
