    Have you tried using the cameras ivs and pull those triggers to blue iris? Instrusion boxes and trip wires save a ton of false alerts. Also for alerts I recommend pushover

    This seems to be the ideal way to go for this instance. Get cat cable to an in-between location that has power and daisy chain switches together.. thanks everyone for the options. Im sure all suggestions would work.

    I know Poe limit is 100m. What is the longest you can run cat 6 for just data (no Poe)? Is it also just 100m? Say someone wanted to install an access point 1000ft away and has power at the access pt location..

    Updated and stopped.. got tired of messing with it. It was great when I had it working. Tailscale gets the job done

    I see blue iris knows the time of sun rise and set in it's log. Isn't there a way to have blue iris adjust day and night setting of the camera using a command in the schedule. I see there are shutter adjustments. Maybe ken could add day and night option?
