Yes, but I can't go this way. Since there are differences on the protocol from HIKVISION to SAFIRE, the SDK gives me a password error (yes, the password is right). Same as if I try to connect with iVMS-4200 or iVMS-4500, or if I try to connect the camera to a Hikvision NVR with Hikvision... -

It is Hikvision OEM, not Hilook. The only firmware I found is the one on Hikvisioneurope, V5.5.111, just with a different build version that the one that comes with the camera. -

I can't even add the camera to Batch Config Tool. Their protocol somehow is different, if I try to add the device to iVMS-4200 I get a "wrong password" error, knowing that the password is right. So Batch Config Tool, Hikvison SDK, etc, I guess they all won't be able to connect because they all... -

LOL, the balcony on the camera is the 10th floor, the one under it is also mine :D There is no neighbour above me, but the roof can be accessed easily for maintenance (elevetor machinery, air conditioning units, etc). -

It depends on the series. The E3 series has Hik-connect support over wifi all the way to v5.5.97 firmware, it was removed on v5.5.98. -

The illegal logins are from 18/Jul/21, a few days later. On 12/Jul/21 the device seems to be working fine until 16:41. After that, it comes back to life on 13/Jul/21 11:26 with an "Abnormal Shutdown" message, so basically the DVR was out of power for about 19 hours. -

No associated IP means it was done locally, with monitor and mouse. Shortly after the failed login attempts there was a login done right, so it was just a failed password by the local user. -

That just happened to myself with a couple of DS-2CD2121G1-IDW1 cameras (E3 series), I am glad I remembered this thread. A customer has one of these cameras working fine for a while, firmware 5.5.92 build 190227. So he buys another one, and is unable to get it working with wifi and Hik-connect... -

Hikvision DS-7204HWI-E1/A 4 Channel DVR
That's a 4ch analog DVR. It only does WD1 video encoding (960x576 resolution), it can not even do 1 megapixel. It is not worth it, throw it away and get something more current/decent. -
