Dahua day/night switch utility - DahuaSunriseSunset

No it's not a traditional linux type device. I may have found a work-around though. I've turned it into a webserver that spits out a webpage with the lux value from the light sensor. I can read that webpage using cron from another server and then use wget from there to trigger the change.

Dahua day/night switch utility - DahuaSunriseSunset

I am trying to us an Arduino Uno with an ambient light sensor to change the cameras into night mode when it gets too dark due clouds during the day. The problem I am having that Dahua cameras use Digest Authentication. I have not been able to get that type of authentication to work from the...

If he's willing to download other apps and run them then you probably wouldn't need to bring your own copy of GPU-Z. I was only suggesting this way if he seems sketchy about the whole thing.

Download GPU-Z to a flash drive that you own and run it on his PC, installation is not needed the .exe runs standalone. Make sure GPU-Z matches what they claim to be selling. https://www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-gpu-z/

I use zone crossing for my overview cameras. I've tried with my LPR cameras but the field of view is quite small and it didn't work well at all. I forgot to mention I only use deepstack during the day.

I live in a condo complex with lots of tree shadows and this time of year lots of blowing leaves. I use deepstack to cancel and hide the useless triggers. I use substream 2 for the actual LPR functionality, The main stream is what is recorded in blue iris.

    Hell Yeah! Direct Deepstack Integration - 5.4.0 - March 31, 2021

I've been using the GTX 960 since May of this year and it seems to work fine with deepstack. Speeds are 85ms-160ms. As far as power goes I have not paid much attention to it. I did fire up GPU-Z and the Board Power Draw peaked in the mid 20's with my 2- 2MP LPR cameras (5231e-z12e). Those are...

OpenALPR Tool - Save and Query CSV Exports

That's actually the thread that prompted me to try the nano after I was less than thrilled with the deepstack performance of the 2GB nano. I'm thinking that 2GB is the limiting issue for real-time video processing. Don't get me wrong the 2GB nano is a great little device for the price. I...

OpenALPR Tool - Save and Query CSV Exports

I tried it for an hour or so on a 2GB nano a couple of weeks ago but the agent kept crashing and restarting, so I went back to my windows based agent. I didn't spend anytime troubleshooting so I'm not sure if I could have worked through the issues or not. I'm doing 1920x1080, 30fps, CBR...

When I upgraded from 5.4.7.11 to 5.4.9.18, I was not seeing alerts for some of my cameras in the alerts list. Long Story short, the Alerts Tab was not configured properly for the cameras. It was set to- Fire when: This camera is triggered, but the Trigger sources and zones box was not checked.

Nothing Ever Found On Deepstack Running On Ubuntu Machine

I ran into a similar issue. I'm running DeepStack GPU on a separate windows 10 box. When I launched DeepStack I used the command: deepstack --VISION-DETECTION True --MODE High --PORT 82 However, while testing things out in BI I enabled facial recognition. This caused all of my alerts to show as...

Just started using this a couple of days ago. I use it for daytime and it does a very good job. It's not enabled for my night profiles. I'm using DeepStack with my LPR cameras. I've tried with my other wider angle cameras and it is identifying too many static objects, especially when there is an...

Set a maximum time length for a triggered alert?

When we get heavy snow at night and the cameras are in IR mode a single triggered alert can last for over an hour. I'd like to be able to set a time limit for the maximum length of a trigger. I tried tweaking the break time but it either has no effect or I get too many useless short alerts...

Here are 3 API commands that I use in a cronjob for my cameras. The script uses curl to interface with the cameras. This script is runs every minute 24/7.
