Well if it's not by dahua specs I would say it's fake? I completely agree with you to buy from a reliable seller, but I feel it's one that is referred to, but I get the impression that if someone want to buy from eBay it's automatically low quality. Just looking for a bit more overall... -

Dahua NVR5216-4KS2 / NVR5216-16P-4KS2
I understand. For me noise is not an issue as the room is not where anybody is, it's a technical room where I have fiber optic etc. But would you say the heat from the internal power supply can give a heating issue so it's best to use the non Poe version or is it just the noise?- alekslyse

Dahua HDW5231R-Z failing SD-cards
True, but thought it was no point naming stores we have here as it will make no sense outside Norway. Its a store equal to bestbuy in the US so they should not be fake. Maybe a bad batch if its no known issues with the cameras and some brands SD cards. -

Is it any experience with the HDW5231R-Z not being nice to some SD cards? I bought 6 128GB sd cards (original) for my cameras, and it finds my SD card and can format it, but after 5 minutes the SD card die. Took the card out of the camera, and mounted it in my computer, and its dead - cant be... -

Dahua NVR5216-4KS2 / NVR5216-16P-4KS2
I have tried to do some research and want to use a NVR for my Dahua cameras as an all in one solution. Is the NVR5216-16P-4KS2 still the "best" consumer grade NVR from dahua? I do got a couple of cisco POE switches, but it doesnt seem to be much price difference between the POE and non POE...- alekslyse

Thank you. I decided to go for 6 PC-HDW5231R-Z and two POE switches. Is it any benefit of using "branded" Dahua switches or will everything work? I sent a list to a couple of dealers including the ali express one that seems to be popular in here so lets see what I can end up with. -
