    If the cable is 24AWG, it's not a standard CAT6. According to EIA/TIA standards, CAT6 cables should use 23AWG wire gauge, not 24AWG.

    Solved the problem, and it was related to IVS - I had both Tripwire & Intrusion set for the same areas. Deleted the Intrusion, and (so far) no more double time during events. Thx @bigredfish and @steve1225 for the guidence!

    Have other cams (one same model) with IVS & SMD, no issues. And no problems with all other cams recording to HDD. Maybe cable? - but would expect to see drops and failures outside of the event recordings.

    Three cables? Your pic only shows one cable, so assuming your NVR is provided POE via (1) CAT6 to your camera. Do you have the right cable? Purpose of the other (2) cables? Make & model of your NVR & cam will be helpful. Doubtful EMF or electrical interferance is the problem.

    How best to manually cut off wire ends on a pass through RJ45 connector

    The wires are still sticking out past the connector. Best way I found with the pass-thrus is to push all wires out past the connector, then snip all parallel to the connector, then pull back cable so wires are just inside the connector. Then crimp.
