    Updated to the latest Dahua NTSC Firmware (instead of Generic) and also updated the PTZ Firmware. Found out upgrading is only possible when the NVR is NOT recording. Well, no change. On any Preset, it will not idle to the desired home preset.

    What I am looking to do, is have preset 1 be the Home. If something triggers the camera to another preset, being an alarm activation, another camera, etc, and there is no other trigger for the set time, then it will go back to preset 1. As I stated, my SD49225T-HN does that and works as intended.

    I have Tripwire setup on Preset 1 and Preset 2. Preset 1 is set as my idle position. Preset 2 is set when another camera sees motion. The camera, after being idle, is not going back to preset 1. Anyone else have any similar setup and having similar issues??

    Dahua NVR Reboots during the day

    Mine (5216-4ks2 NON-POE) has been reboot free. Currently got one WD Blue drive that I had laying around until I place an order of Purples. I just added IVS and tracking to my PTZ. Got between 4 and 5 cams operating/testing.

    Smart PSS exporting issues.

    I am trying to export some video of some suspicious activity using SmartPSS. I am selecting a clip using the scissors button approximately 12:10 to 12:13 and downloading as MP4. Smart PSS is exporting 13:10 to 14:10. What am I doing wrong?

    Has anyone used an in ceiling mount, like the PFB200C or PFB201C, in a suspended ceiling application. Got a customer friend who wants to replace old tech with new and the starlight dome is a big bigger than what he has. I thought that this could make it look nicer. Thoughts?? Opinions??

    Difference dahua nvr with or without poe

    I got 2 from @EMPIRETECANDY . Testing it now, but seems like a nice little NVR for homes and businesses. I will order a POE version also for stock, for customers who don't want a separate POE Switch.

    All my computers were at 192.168.0.xxx, so I changed my subnet to 255.255.254.0 so I could get to 192.168.1.xxx addresses. I don't need 512 ip addresses, but it just makes it easier when getting a new camera on the network.
