    Was looking on Aliexpress in similar price point and found this that claims English firmware and can be upgraded. Might be dceent price to performance vs the 2mp I'm thinking?     I sent a email earlier today to see what they have to say. Maybe I'll get lucky like you did. What was the quantity limit? Also thinking of getting the 1.3mp just for the basement as I need coverage to see what's going on and it isn't risky. Just want to see if there's a sewage backup.

    What's your suggestions at around 75 from Dahua or Hikvision based on Andy or B&H pricing? It proba I'm thinking of trying the colorvu Turret next without the spotlight on for a front door camera at night. I want to see color at night at least for certain areas.

    I saw these added to B&H and and thought even for a bare minimum budget camera specs didn't seem bad. Can't wait for more reviews and input on these. The $80 Dahua budget 4mp cameras Andy showed seem excellent too on a budget.

    They have a rebranded Hikvision DS-7616NI-E2/16P along with some rebranded 3mp Hikvision Dome Cameras. Along with a few POE switches so additional runs or upgrades wouldn't be too long. The original company didn't check the camera models and took a picture of the model number of the NVR.

    I don't see a issue with building a system based on the forum but it's more about not having to support them and like you said not having to do the runs/ drilling through a friend's house. Rather have someone else do it.
