    Ok so Im stumped I have tried every connection I could find in the turret and in the housing. The only place I seem to get anything is the 4 pin connector under the top housing of the unit see pic....the other 3 pin connector on the turret next to the SD card and reset switch has a jumper on...

    Yea...I cracked open the back of the turret...there doesn't seem to be a serial port Connection that I can see...was hoping to find some sort of diagram online but bo luck...

    I purchased the UART cable. I have tried using the RS485 on the pigtail of the camera but I cannot get it to work. If anybody has any suggestions or knows some that can assist in repair I would appreciate....Tks

    Can anybody help I have a SD8A840-HNF-PA. I tried to update the firmware but didn't realize it was the US version camera is now bricked. It keeps trying to connect to network but cycles every 30sec with no GUI or IP access. I have tried almost every method discussed in this thread but no luck...

    Yes the camera powers on, but no I CANNOT access the web interface. It tries to communicate with the switch then after about 5-10 sec it goes out and starts all over again. How or where would I communicate with it over a serial connection?

    Windows just did ANOTHER update and installed a new video driver....and of course now I have the run away mem issue...I rolled back to previous driver now BI fails to start all I get is the BI banner flashing...any ideas help is app tks!

    Was working fine just the other day now when I try to send push alert to mobile app I get nothing...firewall is configured correctly but when I hit test BI says sent to 0 devices. Removed and re added phone still no luck.....any ideas?
