    I use a home automation software called OpenHAB. It calculates what time of day the sun rises and sets, and then sets the camera profile. I have different profiles for the time of day to get the best setting for the camera to get the best reading.

    The speaker is separate, example: I use OpenHAB to send the sounds out. OpenHAB is a home automation server. I use it for pretty much everything around the house - lights, TV control, camera profiles. You can do a lot with it. It does this if things really hit the fan:

    It's probably been discussed already, but how do you control the PTZ? If I see some shenanigans going on, I'd like to zoom in quickly rather than having to log in to SPSS or through a web browser. Is there an easier way like the Dahua PTZ joystick, but cheaper?
