    Cameras suddenly no color

Misdiagnosis. IR was not stuck. Completely covered the lens and could hear the IR engage (click). Turns out my image settings had all been reset to zero (Brightness, Contrast, Saturation)...Saturation at 0 was the problem. Installing Hik's PCNVR client apparently reset these. Setting Saturation...

    Cameras suddenly no color

All of my cameras are stuck in IR mode. I tested one by holding a finger over the IR opening and there is no click. I have 7 Hikvision cameras and one Duhua. The Duhua is not connected to the NVR as I have it on a separate POE switch and it has switched to 'Day' ok. This was without any signs...

Adding a Dahua camera to Hikvision NVR

I have an 8 port poe Hikvsion nvr DS-7608) and trying to add a (Dahua) DH-SD22A204TN-GNI. First time I tried to do this, I bricked the camera by thinking the problem was firmware. I was lucky in being able to get the merchant to replace it so I am back trying to add it to my NVR. I can see it...

    Help using poe switch

Also just read that the switch only supports IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at. I see no reference of these standards under specifications so not sure if this is the problem.

    Help using poe switch

When I connect the camera to the NVR I get activity lights. I also get light if I connect the camera to a poe port on the LGS if I give the camera exernal power. If no power is supplied to the camera, no activity from the poe ports.

    Neighborhood Entry

I watched the video. Will show it to a few our HOA board members. Looks like what we need. Just a matter of camera placement since we want to capture plates exiting and entering. Could you recommend any specific models? I'm leaning towards going all Dahua Cameras and NVR.

    Neighborhood Entry

These are a couple shots of the entrance. As stated, very concerned about License plate capture at night, especially vehicle details like color, make, model etc. Would IR Lighting be good to include and if so, what would you recommend? Also I am to present a proposal to the association so would...

Dahua 2017 International Product Catalog (Q1)

Nice guide indeed. Can you tell me what is the deal with this camera? DH-SD22A204TN-GNI. I see the GN but seldom any reference to the GNI which appears to offer Intelligence features. Even DaHua offers no user manual other than a quick guide. Again it is not in this guide - only the GN version...

This is really refreshing. I am total noob and made a few bad purchases by not knowing what I was doing. I ran as admin before but double checked and the results are the same. Port 69 bind failed. My PC is connected to a switch and the Camera is connected to the same switch. These are the only devices on the switch. Also, no data activity on the switch at the camera connection. I also did power...

    Special Request

I found my mistake - I had entered 192.168.254.254. as gateway address and not IP address. Now I get this ... This is what is in my root. All I have done is run the commands.bat file. You had sent me a link to the latest firmware file and I put that in root. This is all I need to do right?

I did add 192.168.254.254. I double checked the network settings and everything looked correct. I'll try these two alternatives. Thanks.
