    WHat kind of PoE splitter is it ? is it an "active" PoE splitter with electronic inside that can convert 48V into 12V or one of the "passive" 3 bucks splitters ? if passive then it's normal it do not work.

    Analog and you have Ethernet cable and not BNC ? this is unusual... are you sure they are Ananlog and not IPCams ? Anyway DVR=Analog and NVR=IPCam and whenever there are Analog to IP converters they might not be very efficient for your wallet.

    I do not use dome but turret and my main issue is spider web, I have to clean a few cams because of IR reflexion at night and now I prefer to turn off the internal IR light of camera and use an external IR projector that I put near the camera but not too close.

    @J Sigmo if you search for "led lens" on google you'll find a lot of sizes, shapes and light angle, none of my cams have "fixed" lens I mean they are all per lens parts that can be changed if you find the right format.

    there are lens in front of each IR LED, may be they do have a standard size and you could replace them with another model, or you could turn off internal IR lights and buy some external "wide" IR light projector as @J Sigmo proposed, I already used this solution for the same reason.

    if sensor do not react to IR light then sensor is coated, if not then the lens is coated usually on back side and you may sse it playing with normal light reflection that should be redish), easy to test. 207W do WPA2

    did you try remove the lens and see if the CCD sensor react to IR ? IR filter can be just a layer covering the sensor or directly back side of the lens (by the way I still have 2 of the 3 x 207W running for 10 years now ;-)

    I do have many lens from 2.8 to 16mm I know some have this "IR" written, will check next week when back to country house but may be I will step back to a 8mm to get deeper DOF and be less affected by this IR focus effect. But I thought the "IR" was only there to say lens was not filtering IR.

    For some weeks I found rejection balls (don't know if it is correct name as I am not english native) on the ground in my barn produced by some owl, so I checked upside and located a girder were I guessed it could come time to time (looking all the sh*t it left on the girder was easy to guess ;-)...
