As @TonyR saids, you are not using the right plugin. Go to Program Files (x86), look for a "Web Components" folder, delete it. Then point Internet Explorer to your camera, and let the browser download the right plugin. Close IE, run the plugin, open IE, go to the camera again, and once loged in... -

If you opened/forwarded just one port (8000 server port), you are missing the RTSP port (by default 554). -

A factory reset does NOT change the IP and server port (8000 by default), so if you have remote access you should not lose it. From the web interface you can only download full recordings. That is, if you record 24/7 and you have 1Gb files, from the web interface you can only download the full file, even if you just want 10 seconds. If you want to be able to cut a clip from that file, you would have to use iVMS-4200... -

What is the relationship between EZViz and HikConnect?
They are basically the same thing ith two different names (of many) for Hikvision's P2P network. You can use your same account to log in with Hik-connect and Ezviz (app and web site).- Securame

New Install - Hikvision System
The only model with integrated mic and speaker are the cube cameras, 2CD24xx. The only outdoor model with integrated mic are the 2CD25xx. Other cameras might come with audio input/output, and then you can add an external microphone/speaker. -

You are trying to send a 6Mbps video stream over a 1.07Mbps connection. Do not expect it to go smooth. -
