Hi all. Is anyone using this doorbell cam with Synology Surveillance Station AND using Surveillance Station for the doorbell calls/intercom? It seems configurable for this, but by time I get DS Cam (the Synology iPhone app) open, the person at the door would probably be long gone. :) Thanks! -

OK, I thought the Intrusion AI just looked for an object of certain size and not a human shape. One of my other cameras has actual Human detection. And I thought checking Appears would allow it to pick up when something just appears in the zone. -

How to improve upon constant (false) motion detection from cameras?
So if I understand: Tripwire "alarms" when something passes a defined line on the image. Intrusion "alarms" when something passes in or out of a defined box on the image. IVS is just a broad name for the type of detection that tripwire and intrusion fall in to. Do I have it correct?- mooch91

Exactly what I'll do - I have a wad of duct seal that I will use for this purpose, thanks! I don't know how to prevent straining the cables on the Amcrest cameras when I stuff them up in there - not much room to get a nice sweep with the RJ45 and the connector they use...- mooch91
