It won't get focus/zoom numbers. And in the Help! button, it says that this feature is not intended for PTZ's. I'm running a SD49225T-HN -

I see that this won't support PTZ. I'm curious as to why? Other than the obvious (ie: PTZ not always being the same), it would be useful as I was experimenting with a PTZ and needed the focus between day/night switching. -

I have a bunch of Hik's, but the one in particular that I'm working on is a CMIP3042W. I'm in the browser GUI of the camera and played with manual brightness settings, but can't figure out how to knock it back into automatic brightness. Am I missing something? Also, is it possible to make the... -

I'm having a hard time getting the weather overlay to work. I'm on BI 4.5.9.2, BIT 1.1.4. I've followed all of the instructions to set up the wx overlay in BIT and have populated all of the macros. In BI, I type in %1, and nothing appears.- djmt99

Help with DIY IP WIFI Camera
The battery for that camera is 5v. You could buy a USB charge pack. Depending on the draw of the camera and the wifi, that will greatly extend some runtime. Hard to say for how long though, you'll just have to try it (unless someone wants to pull the specs and crunch numbers!). For what it's...- djmt99
