If you check again and read the info text Where you bought the camera, I assume AliExpress, it will say on almost every info page that sell these cameras that you need at least something like a 76xx-version of the Nvr I believe it is to hook them up at least in a normal configuration Sent... -

Sure it can be a pc running a vpn server. So you will have to use a ddns service to be able to always reach your home pc or router that is running a vpn server. Google it and you will find plenty. The easiest solution would be still to have your router if it is capable to be running a vpn... -

But why do you want the camera in Chinese in the first place? The solution would be to talk to the seller on AliExpress and if they are kind enough and have a later version of the firmware available they could give it to you and it would stay as a multilanguage version. But it's highly unlikely... -
