turn off VCA under video settings, in some tab there´s a check box for that. and in the motion settings there is also the setting for sending that data. can not think of anything else atm. good it worked out for you, what issues did you have with the line-crossing btw? . Try first to remove the motion sensing. Test. Then add line crossing detection. Test. Then only motion detection. Test. Without continuous recording. See how or if it works Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk- badmannen

1. why do you need to access the NVR via telnet? I guess it is a nice feature to be able to control it via telnet, anyway if there is no setting in the normal interface to turn it on ( I believe they removed it actually in the newer firmware versions :( ... ) . if it doesnt give you any... -

OK so one issue with this firmware seems to be with capture -> upload to ftp . If I reboot the camera it will work perfectly sending pictures via ftp for every motion trigger event. then randomly , but consistently , it stops. the motion event keep on triggering but it just stop to upload the... -

to be more precise in my question. I had this record setting set to 5 before . I turned OFF recording completely and I set capture settings to send one picture for every time there was a motion trigger. ( interval 0 ) ... that sent me then 1 picture every 10 seconds. So I was tinking if... -

I tried to figure out how long a "triggered" motion event is . What I came up with is 10 seconds as long as nothing else continues to trigger it obviously. can anyone else confirm this? ( yes I guess it might differ from firmware versions , but probably not ) -

anyway if you dont live in china, do not buy the DS-7604N-E1/P even if it maybe will work. go for the Ni version with or without POE (I would go with because why not) , it will make your life easier =) for the camera, depending on where you will mount it, Del boy is right go the... -
