    You can try to see if it is pulling an IP from your network. Open the start menu and in the run box type "CMD" (no quotes). When that opens a new box type "Arp -a" and that will list devices on your network. Here is the manual for your camera I believe.

    They make "pole" mounts. Oddly enough I used my Bosch camera pole mount to create a modified corner mount.. well, long story. You can build your own pole mounts too. You can use a simple pole clamp and mount the camera to a plate directly attached to the clamp. Something like this as an example.
