    thank you, I found 'Jack' responsive on my questions.. hope the best for you and all. so far so good pushing 2 weeks with mine. Still cannot figure out how to have it record to SD card too though. I noted price varies from 138 to now a high of 156? LOL..market conditions.

    Well..interesting comparison...i think something with power. Mine stays 11.5 to 11.8 even when moving and ir and ir moving with zoom high ir. I made my own cat 6 about 60 feet long with poe+. I think dropping to 10.xx is not good. this is what i use...

    Vpn to your lan.. I use ivms4500 no issue with control ptz. Just got v2 and working on playback. My hiks work fine with remote playback and sd card but cannot get motion detection to record. Can manually record though. Will have to play more

    me too.. wrt 1900AC.. it walks you through it from the router.. you do have to download app they have for phones/ Ipad.. works great!!! even control PTZ and watch stored video from onboard cams.
