Is it good idea to buy a hikvision camera from the chinese web ?
How do you know if it will work, how to spot copies ?
 
Buy from a reputable Aliexpress seller such as inRay.

Before you buy, understand that you will not be able to update firmware without bricking the camera. The issue is not getting fakes. The issue that you will receive a china region camera. If an upgrade attempt is made it will brick.

Thanks for the advise, I will try inray on aliexpress.
By monday I will receive 4mp camera, and I have been told, it easy plug and play.
If that the case I will need three more camera,s....wish me luck.
 
Here you go @gogi. If you're going to buy from Aliexpress then this is the camera to buy. Yes, this camera is a little more expensive, but it is Western Region which means the firmware is upgradable. It is also built a little stronger that the less expensive cameras. If you're just starting out with IP cameras I'd recommend you purchase a 4mm lens...
