    I attempting to use a 12v power supply and direct to my pc now but now luck, it seems the problem is not power. Perhaps I sent power from the baluns to something that couldn't handle it. It had the green light inside after my mistake. Using the 12v supply, again it has the green light inside.

    No not good, found a hard reset button inside but still not working. I want to cry, it was the easiest job ever then I wasted 2 hours diagnosing before realising. Now I've wasted 2 hours googling.

    Thanks fenderman, I'll defo be checking those out when I get time. I have Dahua starlight at my house, I always have low light. I'd be amazed if any quality identify could be obtained in zero light. Therefore I'd just set up for LED lighting in that scenario.

    Trigger Configure

    Problem Solved, On the clips panel to the right, I had the wrong setting. There is a small "Alerts" triangle that needs to be set and somehow wasn't. It was set to "All Clips" accidentally using the small triangle up at the top of the clips panel.

    Funny thing is I'm getting the push notifications to my phone app when something crosses zone B which is just my entrance gate and even that doesn't show up as a clip event in the right hand panel? What is going on please help.

    Thanks for the responses and info guys. 2 x 5231's paid for earlier + brackets & shipping from @EMPIRETECANDY with the foreign exchange paid, cost me £275.17. I was sorely tempted with higher MP cams as we will have outside lights too but these will defo come in somewhere.
