DSS Express Replace the SmartPss
I also have the same question, can DSS Express Free version be installed on Windows 11 Pro without installing DSS Server, once 5-6 months ago I tried to install DSS Express but it could not be installed without DSS Server, or I just didn't know how to do it... so I've since given up on even... -

Here I want to confirm that I changed the places of the HDDs and it is definitely that only the second HDD (sdb) can enter in sleep mode, while the first HDD (sda) always remains activ! It should be like that, but the most important thing for me is that the heads in the HDD do not turn and the mechanism does not work unnecessarily, and therefore the temperature is lower by 15 degrees, which is useful for using the HDD for a long time and probably extends its life... ;)- zexoni70

Hello, I have an NVR Dahua NVR5216-4KS2 and 2 pieces of WD HDD installed in it, where the first HDD is WD Purple Pro of 10TB and the second HDD is WD Purple of 4TB. Dear @wittaj thanks, my only concern is that in the NVR5216-4KS2 compression specs it doesn't support AAC audio, while in the NVR4108HS-4KS2/L specs it does support AAC audio for the mic.. Actually, does it depend on the camera or the NVR, because I only use AAC and it works best for the mic...- zexoni70

How can I tell you - TiOC cameras are cameras from the middle class and have not become famous... They have a small CMOS sensor and that's their biggest problem! As I own them myself, I can tell you that they are nothing special and all those warning lights and sirens, and I don't use them much... -

Dear @locarno does your IPC-HFW3549T1-AS-PV-0280B camera work well after the firmware update you downloaded from the Dahua website? That download is only intended for cameras with Dahua logo and if your camera is Dahua model IPC-HFW3549T1-AS-PV-0280B no worries it will work fine with that... -

Are the "Audio Linkage" and "Warning Light" options checked in your settings, if they are not checked, check them and the warning flashing lights and siren should work! The warning lights are activated upon human or vehicle detection, I think the sensor does not respond and is not activated... -

If you don't have WDR or SSA enabled in your settings, sometimes the image with WDR or SSA enabled will look like that, let's say washed out... if they are enabled, turn them off and compare. -
