    That was my point in my response to the other poster, I said these are genuine Hikvision cameras that have only been re-branded and there is nothing wrong with that. I guess some would feel that since these have been re-branded that they are not genuine Hikvision cameras but that would be a dead...

    I am sorry to report that Chrome is now complaining again about the plugin, When I first tested this after installing v5.3.3 everything was fine so I don't know what changed.

    +1, I could not agree with you more. You no its funny because most these same people that bitch about price and purchase the cheap one from AliExspress or from wherever are the very ones hew come crying when they brick there camera trying to update the firmware.

    The attached image is to small, I cant read your settings. Please either post a larger image or post the settings. The IP address & subnet need to match your LAN settings. If the camera setting do match your LAN settings then I would factory reset the camera and start over.

    They are genuine Hikvision that have not been hacked with with English firmware like the ones that you would get from AliExspress or most seller on Amazon and the like. His cameras have only been re-branded, No harm in that. His prices & support are great.

    The IR only come on by default when it starts to get dark but yes you can change that setting to on or off in the web interface for these Hikvision cameras and no reboot required.

    Great, Well thats not promising news for me. I was told that these Turrets would cause me less trouble with spiders then regular domes or bullets. I personally like the look of the regular domes because people cant tell which way there are pointing or if the cameras are following them.

    I guess I should of worded it differently, I guess they both attract spiders but on the bullets the IR lights are wrapped around the lens so the spiders tend to make a web across all the lights, hens covering the camera lens. Where as the Turret the IR light is below the lens so the spiders...

    If you are worried about the firmware and or you are the kind if person like me that likes to keep your firmware updated then stay away from the Chinese cams. If its more important to save money then stay updated on the firmware then by all means get the Chinese cameras.

    That's going to be a nice system when you get it done. I just want to point out that unless your totally spider free where you plan on installing the bullet cameras or your not planning on using the built in IR for night vision then I would stick to the Turret Domes because spiders love the IR's...
