You say "upon trigger"... are you walking outside and triggering the alert, or using the "test" in the BI \Alerts page? The "Test" may not work for this...- rdxny

Day/Night settings on new 5442 cams
Reporting back: I had to mess with the settings some: the "0" for sensitivity prevented it from changing to b/w at dusk, so I raised the setting one notch every day, until I had it at 4 today, when it behaved and changed without cycling back and forth. But I realized I was changing the "day"... -

I have Yolov5.net enabled on my BI box, since it has no graphics card. But I have Yolov5.6.2 enabled on my other PC since it does have a decent graphics card. Mesh looks like it is working...Is this not the way to do it? Should I change the 2nd PC back to Yolov5.net also? -

Thanks, I will try those settings this eve and see if it helps. The "0" for sensitivity and using "auto" for daytime are different, so I shall see. I'm considering updating the firmware, but hesitant:) -

I have two Andy cams... T54IR-ZE-S3 running the newer web 5 interfaces, and firmware V3.100.0000000.5.R 2023 -05-09 One goes back and forth between Day (color) and Night (B/w) at dusk, flashing back and forth until it gets dark enough to stay B/w). The other is more stable. What I can't figure... -

The whole idea of dual NIC is that the main net shouldn't see the cameras network, other than BI itself, I think? BI is on the 192.168.1.xxx network, the cameras are on .50.xxx Both pc's see each other in explorer on the .1.xxx net. CPAI says "active address" is the .50, but no idea why or... -

hmmm, I run a dual NIC, and I think the BI PC is on the same network as the other pc with the cameras on a separate net... but I do see CP saying the "active IP address" is the camera one? I'm unclear what I would have to change here... -

edit: reboot fixed this, sheesh, should have done that first! I installed 2.4.5 on the second (non BI) PC, and it installed fine, and shows "Mesh" in the control panel. But after an uninstall on the blue Iris PC, I installed 2.4.5 but it does NOT show "Mesh" in the CPAI control panel like it... -

IVS error in 5442
EDIT: SOLVED! (I had exported and imported settings to clone the camera, but for some reason the Video Config didn't take properly, thus the GetEvents error. Re doing the "Find/inspect" fixed it, working as expected now. I'm trying to set up an IVS rule in a 5442 ( a cloned cam). I had no... -

I loaded v 262, but no extra button appears:( (yes, v 262 shows in my normal browser, so update was ok.)... I'm afraid the samsung browser is just messed up! Thanks for trying! (btw, everything after "loading h264 player" is also "busy", not "OK", if that matters. -

same here, but after the red errors went away, I still cannot get the settings to open... just grayed out and loading h264 spinning in the display... can't get past that. I was hoping there was something I could put into the web address or something that would force Java... -

I'm trying to do the same with my (also older) Samsung TV... using the UI3 v 260, it starts to load UI3 but stalls "loading h264". I can't select the settings or options to change to Java or change the res... those options are grayed out as it is still trying to load H264. Did you see that and... -

I'm using BI, no NVR, so the short timeout is from the cameras I think... -

on the Dahua 5442 web settings (either older version or new s3 version), the timeout before having to re login is short. Can that be changed? I see no way... when working on several cams it's a pain to have to re login constantly.. and no way to use a password saver either I think?.... thanks -

I'm also on same firmware as Ingeborgdot... System Version V3.100.0000000.5.R, Build Date: 2023-05-09 The option to lower the IR for overexposure isn't something I need as those cams use external IR lights (avoiding spiders, bugs, rain, snow, etc) -

well, I THOUGHT I had turned OFF the "Network Settings --> Platform Access --> ONVIF", but apparently not. Maybe I didn't hit "apply". I re did that, and now the find inspect on both 5442 S3 cams is populating the profiles correctly (and seeing the camera properly on the Onvif Find/inspect data... -

Nope! camera works great (after I input the profiles manually)... and I have two 5442 S3's that show this the same way... so messing with FW is not in my plans:) (they are direct from Andy, so I'll stay pat! ) Be nice to solve this for simplicity and since others saw same thing, but I can live...
