    Dahua Cameras hacked

I think I am so misinformed it's pathetic I have used port forwarding alone with local PC with PC not on. I think you are alluding to letting BI being always on doing the work BI has for each camera its WAN address and ports used on router I was always afraid that without port forwarding and...

I do not have the skillset to do anything else but port forwarding using the Dahua camera in BI plugging in the WAN address. If I plugged in the 192.168.1....... LAN I would not be available to see these cams remotely on a remote location with another BI setup only WAN seems to allow me to...

Random, I mean random spikes on CPU usage

Use the remote connect feature of Blue Iris to connect to another Blue Iris remote Location. Wouldn't that mean keeping TWO instances at two locations On for this to work?

Random, I mean random spikes on CPU usage

I have 3 physical locations running blue iris at each of these locations The IP addresses (WAN) are different at all locations but to add cameras I use the WAN from those locations and vice versa I honestly never knew of any method other than port forwarding If i use for example 192.168.1.243...

Strange icon on Dahua IP camera server page

Thank you for the info! I guess I don't understand why a spec with 350mA or 600mA can trump 2A with a 12v transformer especially over a 100 foot run. I guess Voltage is key here not amperages, forgot electricity 101 or PIE
