New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Bummer, I was worried about that. I suppose I'll submit a support ticket to reolink to request that. Hopefully they'll continue to improve it with firmware updates, but we'll see. Thanks for posting images!

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

You’re fast! I’ve been procrastinating because pulling an Ethernet cable to my front door is a chore :) Are you doing continuous recording in BI? Are you using a substream from the doorbell? Have you found the stream from the doorbell to be stable/reliable in BI? Are you using the Reolink...

    iOS Push failure 80090308-Anyone else?

I haven’t had the issue since updating to 5.3.6.7. At least it isn’t being reported in the log. Have you updated and seen similar results?

    iOS Push failure 80090308-Anyone else?

I just updated to 5.3.6.7 and did 20 manual push notification tests. All arrived to my iPhone successfully without errors. Wondering if something was fixed in this release or if I'm just having good luck? UPDATE: Just heard back from support about this version and he said that now it just...

    iOS Push failure 80090308-Anyone else?

Just to be clear, this was suggested by support as a troubleshooting test and not really a solution. This was the link provided: Apple Push Notification service server certificate update - Latest News - Apple Developer I downloaded and installed the three certs to the default location, rebooted...

    iOS Push failure 80090308-Anyone else?

I've been emailing back and forth with support about this for about a week. Still no solution. He's been trying a few things over the last few releases but I'm still experiencing the problem. I was also asked to manually install a certificate on my BI computer to see if that was the issue, but...

    iOS Push failure 80090308-Anyone else?

It looks like yesterday's 5.6.3.2 update now includes the affected mobile device name in the error message. So now the error says: I was hoping that additional info would help identify which of my mobile devices is the cause, but it looks like it's all of them.

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

I didn’t get the email you mentioned. I ordered it from Reolink’s website at 6:32 am CDT on Aug 22. I think that’s the morning they started taking US orders. I will say the shipping estimate they gave was accurate to the day. My order email in Aug said, “Estimated shipping date: 2022-10-17” and...

    iOS Push failure 80090308-Anyone else?

Same here. I get many of my BI iOS notifications but not all. I have BI set up to email me every time there's an error, so I'm getting 5-10 emails every day with the "iOS push failure 80090308" error. I emailed support to ask for troubleshooting suggestions but haven't heard back yet.

    iOS Push failure 80090308-Anyone else?

I've been getting this error sporadically since Oct 28. I'm running the latest version 5.6.3.1. A full reboot did not improve it. I emailed support on Oct 29 but he's not able to reproduce the error and suspects it may be the result of something with Apple's servers. I'm skeptical of that cause...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

The included documentation doesn't say, but someone on their Facebook group asked a similar question and the Reolink admin said that the chime will be available separately later. Doesn't really answer the question, but makes it sound like a possibility.

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

I received the POE version last week and added it to BI. I haven't had time to install it at the front door, but it appears to be working so far laying on the basement floor. I'm only using the main stream currently. It's my first Reolink product so we'll see how it works.

    What doorbell camera in 2022?

I hope it works well with BI, but I've never owned any Reolink cameras in the past. I always read they've historically had problems with BI, especially in terms of iframe control and fixed frame rate. I'm willing to give this one a try because there are so few hardwired PoE doorbell cams on the...

    What doorbell camera in 2022?

Just placed my pre-order for the $87 Reolink POE doorbell today. The estimated shipping date is October 17, 2022. I'm very skeptical it'll work well with BI, but I'm looking forward to comparing it to my current wifi LaView LV-PDB1520F1 (rebranded Hikvision DS-KB6403-WIP). I would still much...

Possible heap corruption - what does it mean

Just got this "Possible heap corruption" error today on v5.5.9.6. Don't think I've ever seen it before. Guess I'll see if it happens again.

    What doorbell camera in 2022?

I've never purchased a Reolink product and mostly hear frustrations from other users here, although it sounds like recent firmware updates have improved compatibility with Blue Iris and addressed some of the biggest complaints. I'm mostly curious about that upcoming doorbell because I've never...

    What doorbell camera in 2022?

I never thought I'd say it, but I'm looking forward to the Reolink doorbell coming out this fall, with the POE option. I'll wait for reviews, but if I block it from the internet and use it with BI, it could be a decent replacement for my current wifi doorbell...

    Blue Iris UI3

@bp2008 are there any additional caveats with UI3 when using the new "direct to wire" feature in BI 5.5.9.0, beyond what's mentioned in the help PDF? Thanks!

Rip off alert - Digital River ripping off users on BI support

Good point. Sometimes I'll get an email response within 5 minutes of sending it, other times it'll be weeks. I suspect it depends on whether he's in the mood to deal with the topic at the time, or not. Or if it's related to a recent update, like you said.

Rip off alert - Digital River ripping off users on BI support

I'm thankfully not seeing any double charges here. Do you think there's really any difference between priority support and regular support? I pay for priority because I think BI is a good value for the money, but I seem to only get responses to my support emails about half the time, and often...

    Blue Iris UI3

Of course you did, incredible! It works perfectly. I grabbed ui3-local-overrides.js and edited lines 4 and 5 to include the camera shortname and group: Then I dropped it into the ui3 subdirectory, restarted BI, and now I have PTZ control of that camera while in group view: Thanks again...

    Blue Iris UI3

Is it possible to control the PTZ for a single camera while viewing a camera group in UI3? For instance, select the camera so that the PTZ controls are enabled, but remain in group view? I searched this thread and the UI3 settings but couldn't find it. Thanks!

BI can control PTZ with WAN address but not LAN address

Hello, I have an Amcrest ASH21 camera on my wifi network that I've added to BI. The video stream works fine but BI cannot control the pan/tilt of the camera when using the local IP address. However, if I edit the camera's IP address in BI to my external WAN address and momentarily port-forwarded...

    Blue Iris UI3

Very nice job @bp2008 on the UI3 timeline! The glowing blue "current time indicator" is cool and the overall functionality is excellent. Thank you! Beware of Z-Wave 700 series controllers

@bp2008 thanks for posting! I'm just getting started with HA and this is helpful. I'll likely order the Nortek HUSBZB-1. Are you using an zigbee devices? I've heard from a few people that instead of plugging the HUSBZB-1 directly into HA, I should consider running ZwaveJS2MQTT in Docker with...

Ring opens its app to non-Ring cameras

I just read this news story that Ring will soon allow users to add 3rd party ONVIF cameras into the Ring ecosystem and take advantage of their app, notifications, event history, etc. It sounds like a bad idea that I'd personally never want to use, but I still found it to be an interesting move...
