Thanks klasipa great idea if they are willing, I saw that you took apart the V2 PTZ and it didn't look too difficult, that may be a good way of getting what i need quickly, otherwise it might be forever before I get it resolved and with new year in the forefront it might take forever and a day... -

I know but where I am stalling them I need the wide angle lens so it captures the scene. These are for sure the 10X since I can't come close to what you described as the 3X wider FOV. -

It just seems you have a defective camera, I think you have done pretty much everything that can be done to get it up and running, with the exception of Version 2 are all the other Version 1 working properly? Because of my setup I bought 3 of the 3X PTZ's the 10X stating lens is way to big at... -

Thanks Kawboy12R, I will be changing the two cameras the 4MM Hikvision and the 3.6mm Dahua for small PTZ's I work from home so it will be easy for me to monitor the cameras and be able to move and zoom as needed to any subject or items in front of my house, in the meantime they will be parked... -

I would like to put a 2MP PTZ 20X with autotracking (I would not mind a smaller zoom than 20x but not too many manufacturers make them smaller than 20x with autotracking) most of the PTZ's bring from 4.7... -

Hi guys, First post but been reading for a while, I need some opinions from those with much more knowledge than I as to what you think the size of the lens this Hikvision camera has (picture on the right). The box says it's 4mm but right besides the Hikvision model number (DS-2CD2342WD-I 4mm)...
