    justadude, thanks but no luck yet. DHCP is enabled on the router. I have connected the switch to the router and camera and reset several times. I was hoping to find another way to install/force the firmware onto the camera, like the Hikvision tftp method.

    Looks to me like he was videoing your house and the intersection. To me, he kind of acted like a cop talking on his radio while taking video. But i would imagine a cop would use something a little better than a phone camera for official business. Then again, cops like those Hemi engines. :)

    I would try something like advanced ip scanner to see if it sees it. Or try ONvif device manager from sourceforge. The late uberoverlord posted a reset tool in that long thread you mentioned.I believe you entered the ip address into that tool, so I would try the last ip address the camera used...

    Yellowhorn, onvif device manager v2.2.250 sees my Huisun and has a hard factory reset option. I haven't tried it though.
