    Well, backdoors that connect to servers. I know that few of the chinese cameras have Malware already. I've read some article that was about chinese Ip camera that made suspicious traffic to a chinese Ip address. But if it's just something like hardcoded accounts it isn't a problem.

    Both had a some kind of backdoor but those are fixed now and hopefully not new were added.

    Not all chinese cameras are bad. Hikvision and Dahua are pretty good.

    I think most of the Internet providers have some type of a firewall. Usually they disable internet access and send a warning, because operators don't want to be origin of attacks.

    Cameras without ActiveX or plugins.

    Hi! All cameras I have seen require ActiveX or some kind of plugin at some point. Does anybody know what brand cameras doesn't need those?
