    Anyone using Amcrest IP3M-954E bullets?

Here are screenshots of the Amcrest NVR's webGUI: Nayr: I agree that it's not much different than a Dahua, but I am certain it doesn't behave as well as a Dahua. For instance, the webGUI doesn't refresh properly -- one has to toggle between record dates on record mode to refresh the...

    Dahua NVR + Amcrest Cameras

Would go for the Dahua 4-ch PoE which is just enough for my needs and have no plans for any expansion. I have the Amcrest PT (IP2M-841E) and the turret (IP2M-844E) and hope Fenderman is right that these boys would cooperate with the Dahua NVR as far as MD-recording is concerned. If not, I'm...

    Dahua NVR + Amcrest Cameras

LOL, fenderman. I just responded to you in the other thread. Anyways, I'll try my luck even though there is a chance that motion-detect recording might not work. I'm saying this because I've been warned by a Dahua US tech that even though the cams are oem'd by them, it's still not a guarantee...

    Anyone using Amcrest IP3M-954E bullets?

Ditching my Amcrest NVR for a Dahua 4-channel PoE. Amcrest webGUI is pathetic and haphazardly done. I don't know what to do with my two Amcrest cameras though. Maybe try them with the Dahua NVR when I get it...see if they are compatible.

    Dahua NVR + Amcrest Cameras

Guys, any chance Amcrest cameras will work with Dahua NVRs? Does anyone have this kind of setup? Thanks in advance.

    Anyone using Amcrest IP3M-954E bullets?

Taken from Foscam's website: We, Foscam.US (aka Foscam Digital Technologies and now Amcrest Technologies), are an independent United States based distributor of "Foscam" branded products. We have been offering telephone support, US local warranty and building the Foscam brand in the US for...

HIKvision DVR (DS-7208) and Foscam IP cameras - motion detection?

Any 3rd-party brand that has a 180-deg. horizontal FOV. Also, when you say "onvif event" -- what exactly is that? I never encountered the phrase "supports onvif event" when looking at the spec sheet of any camera. Normally, it would only say "onvif" and nothing else.

hikvision and reolink ip camera enable motion

I will not be surprised if it will not MD record. I do not own a Hik recorder, but I've read its online manual and it says that with third-party cams, regular recording will work but not with MD. Sorry to rain on your parade, but it is what it is.

HIKvision DVR (DS-7208) and Foscam IP cameras - motion detection?

This is why I find the ONVIF "standard" loosey goosey and a misnomer. If it was not, then we would not have any trouble cross matching brands and it would not be costly and a hassle.

HIKvision DVR (DS-7208) and Foscam IP cameras - motion detection?

Hi! I have the same dilemma. My NVR is an Amcrest NV1104E (4-ch PoE) and two Amcrest IP cams, and they are all working fine. Will I have the same problem doing motion-detect recording thru the NVR with third-party cams? I have learned through Dahua USA and Hikvision that normally, if I pair a...

    Dahua NVR4216-8P-4K & Hikvision

Have you tried motion-detect recording on the NVR with that Hik cam? I very much doubt it.

    Mixing Cameras & NVR Compatibility

Watch out! I think when you mix and match different brands of cameras and NVRs, and particularly if you want motion detection recording to work, you have to have the same brand of camera and NVR. The reason behind this is that each camera/NVR brand has its own unique motion detection overlay...
