    Thanks, thought so. Also, in the past I've really had trouble resetting these cams. I unplug the POE cable, press and hold the reset button, plug the POE cable back in while holding the button for 10 seconds, but it almost never seems to work. Is there any trick to this? Thanks again!

    I've been successfully using a pair of Netgear Powerline 1200's with a Hik 4MP at 2688*1520 and 20 fps for about six months now. The "receiving" unit shows a red light implying a slow connection but it appears to still be more than enough bandwidth for the one cam.

    I'd be intrigued to hear how that would work. Without very fast upload speeds at the remote sites I'd think you'd still be constrained to recording the sub-stream only, which would function the same as any other remote camera setup. Are the other locations networked together in some other manner?

    Very strange that you can't change the resolution hooked up directly to the NVR. Does it say that it's an unsupported resolution or that the connection failed?
