got that part, about not being able to log on to the app? I marked BI to run as a service and checked which version I'm running (4.7.5.0) because now I'm not sure the update installed
Any of you know a reason I can not connect on the app since I did the update this morning? Haven't been able to get back to the office where the PC is yet to check yet.
I dont think I will have much to move either way because they were being deleted after 1 day. On the mobile app, when you look at old clips, is this just in the new folder or does it see the stored folder as well?
I switched the options to transfer files from new to stored to just delete out of the new folder. Any reason why the allocated space allowed is less when I am just using the new folder? I can allocate only about 700 to the new folder but, when I was using the new and stored folders my combined...
Ok, changed both, New- 580 and Stored- 1240 with the limit clip age box unchecked. I am saving everything on a C: drive and I read that this is not ideal, the only other drive i have is a D: labeled as a recovery drive and it shows that most of the storage is already used up. I'm assuming to...
After reading some post about the combine and cut option, I am not understanding why this would limit my clips to only being saved for a day. The combine and cut option just determines the size of the clip file correct?
just recently had to setup BI on a new pc and configure all my old settings on the cameras. We had an issue with a firewall for getting the app to work but fixed that, now the only other issue is, BI is only keeping a days worth of video clips. I checked in the files on the drive it is being...
I’ve read the recommended hardware for pc’s, I just want to double check I’m covered if I purchase this pc. Currently running 8 cameras and my last hard drive burnt up cpu running real high even after doing some of the cpu saving functions. This is a description of the new pc
as i mentioned before, i am winging all of this, half of the stuff you are posting i'm going back to google to figure out what you are asking for. I have some knowledge in this stuff but it all comes from google, ipcamtalk, and youtube.
I lowerEd the fps on the 2 sharx and the 2 dahua and the cpu is still at 86-95% in BI. I'm not sure the exact model numbers of the GW cameras, a tech/camera guy installed them (he crashed and died a year ago so no going to him).
what does it mean if i put in the ip address to the camera in my web service and i get this message

Does changing the fps in just BI help?
4 GW- (2592x1920) 5MP 1920p @ 15 FPS; 3MP 1536p @ 30 FPS; 2MP 1080p @ 30 FPS
2 SHARX- 1920x1080 30FPS
And then the two Dahua.
Under BI in camera properties/video/image format this is what I'm showing
1920x1080 30 fps (sharx)
1920 x 1080 27fps (dahua)
1920 x 1080 26fps (sharx)
2592 x...
I recently added 2 Dahua cameras to my BI software, I now have 8 cameras. Before I was running 6 and only was running 30-50% cpu now BI is showing high 90's% cpu. Is it a PC problem or a setting I can change? All cameras are set to "direct to disc".
Finally figured it out, had the password wrong, I never had to mess with the password on my other cameras and when I set this one up I put a different password. thanks for the help and patience
I am having trouble with a Dahua camera on my BI, cant seem to get it to show a picture. Every now and then I can get a picture on the web service but no signal in BI?
