    They worked for others in this post but didn't work for me. I reverted back to older firmware and all is working fine on 3.216 - so its a bit hit and miss. I'm waiting to see if a new version comes out i can then try and upgrade again.

    Finally gave up the ghost - I Upgraded my cam firmware and my NVR totally lost contact with my cameras (directly plugged into the nvr). Had to connect them all to external poe and run them that way. Factory reset one of the cameras to see if that fixed it and then totally lost all access to...

    i tried this update and now my cameras are not being picked up by my nvr - i can connect cameras to a poe switch and they connect that way but plugging them directly into the NVR doesn't pick them up. Not sure whats happened there!

    There are 2 parts to the Notifications. 1 is the push notification which is sent to the device that subscribes etc. The second part is viewing the footage the alert was for. The first part works for me and i get the notifications. Its the second part which is actually viewing the footage...

    Done a full factory default, set the unit up again. It fixed a few other issues I was having but notifications definately not working. Time to downgrade. Shame as I really liked the upgrade and interface. Hopefully they fix it soon!

    I was thinking of upgrading my system but it looks like there are still a few niggling issues people are facing. Probably best for me to wait until these are all resolved before i upgrade my system then :( Back to the waiting game.

    Andy was fantastic and really helpful as usual. He suggested to get a mix of hdw2231r-zs hdw5231r-ze hdbw4231f-e2-m And a IPC-HDBW4231F-A for the gate Now just need to look thhrough some reviews of those cameras.

    I read through most of the thread but must have missed a few posts. Can someone confirm if they managed to get both cameras working on the NVR as independent channels? (as 2x 2Mp camera recordings?) also, can you set these to any angle or is there restrictions on the max camera angles?

    Removing cameras from the NVR poe ports

    The nvr can only do what it knows about If it doesn't know about ivs then whether you plug in a device that know it directly or through a poe won't make a difference. The nvr needs to be ivs compatible to understand ivs and then record it.
