    ^^^^^ What they said, especially pulling more than one cable downstairs. Also highly recommend pulling at least two cables to each camera location - helps with troubleshooting and future expansion. Does your house have a wired network for internet? Consider adding /upgrading networking...

    You could also try to get Amazon to replace the mic. Amazon also handles the manufacturers warranty claims for some items so that may be easier since Amazon can see your purchase etc.

    Also determine what you want the camera to do in each location - overwatch, monitor packages, facial ID etc. A varifocal camera and the test rig helped me a lot.

    :welcome: One or two varifocal turrets and the test rig really enhances the ability to tweak a location to help dial in coverage and minimize/avoid issues like sun glare or street lights messing with your image quality.
